how do I choose?
One itinerary can mean two very different cruises.
I check the size of the ship, cabin location, children’s programme, sea days and extra charges. Only then do I compare the offers.
If you are travelling with children
I check the age groups in the kids’ clubs, opening hours, pools, slides and the bed layout in the cabin. A toddler and a teenager need different ships.
What to add to the cabin price
I check gratuities, drinks, internet, travel to the port and the price for a third or fourth guest. These items often change the final total.
